I "cracked the code" for how to do aileron rolls on Sunday. Tonight I couldn't wait to get to the hangar after work to do a bunch. The RV just got to be a lot more fun! It was extremely nice to be able to fly and work on the RV after work - and without leaving all that early. Tonight's project was to start trimming the new vertical stabilizer tip for the GoPro camera mount. No real science went into this cut - it just seemed to work out nicely here. I made a bottom plate out of 063 to make sure the camera is mounted to the tip securely. I want to reduce any chance of camera movement. I glassed in the metal mounting plate, along with reinforcing the balsa room on the aft side of the tip with 3 layers of glass.
