I had to work on Saturday, so it was a one day weekend for me. My girlfriend and I decided to head off to Coatesville, PA for lunch. Although it was a little breezy, it was a great day to be in the air! Chester County Airport (KMQS) has a great restaurant in it. Their two specialties are the Ruben sandwich and french onion soup. The ramp at KMQS was not as full as I thought it would of been. I supposed the low level turbulence AIRMET caused a lot of pilots to stay in. Crossing over the Susquehanna river, looking west to Harrisburg. Looking East towards the Chesapeake bay. It was a little bumpy in the air today. Going to KMQS we had a nice 20 kt tailwind. My girlfriend and I had a great flight today. She didn't care too much for the bumps, but was able to tolerate it. Oh, and I lost my mic cover somewhere int he RV. One of these days I'll remember to look for it!
