At work the other day I saw the engineer who is next to me have all of this extra nylon cable wrap in his office. I immediately asked him if he had too much for me to use on the airplane. Sure enough, it was all excess. So I covered up the bare wires they were going up my firewall. I installed the ACK E-01 121.5 Mhz ELT today. I used some #12 bolts through this rib. The two top bolts go through some 063 angle, so there is plenty of meat for this to grab onto. I needed to mount some nylon cable mounts and let them dry. Tomorrow I will finish up the wires in the aft fuselage. I installed the throttle, prop and mixture controls. The panel is officially complete. Why not some more shots? And a cropped version. In case you didn't know, I am pretty happy with how my panel turned out.
