I have heard some horror stories about bleeding the brakes. Everyone swears by the using one of these sprayers and modifying it. It was a minimal investment at $17.00 from Ace Hardware. Compared to the $90 version Aircraft Tool Supply sells (and it looks very similar also), this was a steal.

I needed to go from 3/8" down to 1/8" through some reducer unions.

Hooked the 1/8" tube to the bleed valve.

And I made this overflow container out of the empty brake fluid can.

I am using Mobile 1 Synthetic ATF (automatic transmission fluid) for my brake lines. Someone did some research on the VAF forums and found this to be IDENTICAL to the Milspec brake fluid.

Well, short story short, the brakes took no time to bleed. I mean I was seriously finished in about 15 minutes total. This was one of those tasks that I thought would take way longer than it actually did. Brakes are rock solid to boot.
