Great afternoon today! My I convinced my Dad to help me rivet on the top aft skins, but in exchange I needed to ditch work at 2:30. That's like a RV exacta - leave work waaaay early and work on the RV. Anyways, I squeezed into the fuselage to buck and he worked from the outside. It took about 2.5 - 3 hours to get both skins on. I think the only skin left to rivet will be the forward skin, and that is relatively small, albeit, its going to be uncomfortable as hell for the bucker (me). I thought being squeezed into the fuselage was going to be uncomfortable, but it wasn't bad at all. Long 1x10's padded with old towels made it comfortable. The worst thing about today was it was HOT outside. While I was at it, I put the bolts in and torqued them for the seatbelt attachment. Great night on the RV! Lots of parts on permanently!
