Tonight I worked on getting the flaps rigged up. First off I needed to put a hole in the fuselage to accommodate the clevis and rod that attach the flaps to the flap weldment on the inside of the fuselage. This took forever with files and try after try. I needed to file off one of the rivets forward of the pilot hole in the skin. And the side shot. Most of this holes size is due to accommodating the clevis hardware on the flap. I ran into some interference on the bottom of the skin and the fuselage. I started to file it off, but more needs to come off. It's late, so I will finish this up tomorrow, and hopefully nail out the other side.
