I was pretty beat when I started working on the firewall tonight. I finished riveting the bottom outboard skin on the right wing and contorting my body to all the different positions to buck those rivets just beat me. Anyways, the sheers at work made easy work of cutting thr 063 stock. I drilled the brake doubler to the firewall. This is for the taildragger only - the brake lines penetrate the firewall here and then get routed over the engine mount and down the gears legs. I still have to enlarge the middle holes to full size, but I was on a #40 drill bit kick only tonight. Next I backdrilled the shim that goes under the top engine mount. Thats it for the night. I am beat.
