I hadn't had a chance to get to the hangar all week to see how my reinforcement of the airbox turned out. I was very pleased with how everything looked. I back-riveted the airbox bypass door onto the airbox along with some nutplates. My friend Peter was wanting to get started on fiberglassing the tips of his RV. I gave him a couple hour tutorial for the "Mike Bullock" way to do RV fiberglass. Basically the pointers I wished I had learned when I started to glass. He picked it up quickly and made good progress on his empennage tips. Back to my RV. Yet another Bowden cable from ACS arrived today. I am really crossing my fingers this is the last issue I will run into with the airbox bypass door. Everything rigged and tested. Time to go fly and have it not break!
