It's that time of year again when I need to install the oil cooler blocker for winter flying. I went for a quick flight and realized since I resealed my plenum and my CHT's have dropped to below 300 degrees, more air is going through my oil cooler and my blocker isn't as effective as it needs to be. I am trying to design a oil cooler blocker which is controllable from the cockpit. This is a sad sight...Winter flying usually means cold hangar and less work on the RV that I'd like to do.
