Usually I don't count "Non-RV" work towards my time, but today was a big exception. We have had two large snowfalls in the past 5 days, leaving us with 60 " of snow -- probably the most this area has ever received. The roof pitch of my house isn't all that steep, so I was concerned with the loading of all of that wet snow on it, and how it might collapse the roof, mortally wounding my RV. I decided to play it safe and shovel all of that snow off of the garage. Holy crap did that take forever. I couldn't just pitch it over any which way, because I didn't want to pile it up on my driveway where I would have to shovel it again, nor did I want to dump it on the deck off the back of the garage because of the loading of the deck. So I basically had to walk all of it over to the side of the garage. Not all that much fun.  I began putting some lightweight 3/4oz fiberglass cloth (from ACS) on the rudder tips tonight. The stuff is a little hard to work with since it is sooo lightweight. This will reinforced the bond between the tip and the rudder and prevent a crack line from forming when it is painted.  I did the same for the top tip.  Finally I added a small piece of foam to the leading edge of the top tip in order to lengthen the tip a little more to match up with the rudder.
