This morning the FAA inspector came out and took a look at my project. Another gentleman was overlooking his technique, so it was great to have two sets of eyes on the project. No squawks were found, but two recommendations were made. One was to add some torque seal to the swags on the rudder cable ends to show if they were coming undone. The other suggestion was to beef up the steel bracket which supports the mixture cable underneath of the sump. The bracket had some bend in it when the cable was actuated from full rich to full lean. Other than that, most of this morning was taking care of paperwork. I have a pretty good Phase 1 flight test area which comprises of a number of airports. Great day!!!
