The last major task on my hit list is finishing the exterior of the cowl halves. The bottom half had a bump out for the fuel controller mixture arm. I never did anything more than lay some glass over it, so tonight I mixed up some micro to make it a little more presentable. I also sanded down the rivet lines and applied some 3/4 oz cloth to the rivet lines to hopefully prevent the rivets from working through the cowl once it is painted and installed. I prepped the top half of the cowl, but ran out of time to lay any cloth. Good start to the finishing of the cowl!
