One thing I have been meaning to do is put a seal between the plenum and the top of the engine. I few weeks ago I experimented with how RTV sticks to materials. My original plan was to tape the engine with packing tape, slobber on a bunch of RTV on the plenum, and then install the plenum, causing the RTV to make a custom seal to the top of the engine. Well, in that test the RTV stuck pretty good to the packing tape. Tonight I waxed the packing tape with mold release wax and then stuck a test popsicle stick to it. This should work.

I wanted to get started on the lower rudder tip tonight. I did a trial fit of it to the rudder and noticed it protruded pretty low. I walked it out to the fuselage and noticed it might interfere badly with the tailwheel spring. So I tabled this project for the night until I can install the rudder to get a better idea for how the fit will be.

I assure you I don't reuse this pic every night. Once again I filled some small pinholes and reprimed the empennage fairing. It is very very close to being done.
