There was some interference between the subpanel and the vent tube. This would of been a PITA to deal if the subpanel was already riveted in. I am mounting my GRT magnetometer off of the top of the F-707 bulkhead. GRT recommends the wingtip, but I have a good amount of goodies going out there. The main thing I am concerned about is as of now, I am planning on using HID lights, which can give off some decent RF interference. I figured in the fuselage isn't a terrible place. Lots of people put them there without any issues. I will take this to work and do the bending on the brake there. Here is the magnetometer on the mount.
