Here is a shot on the inside of the forward top cowl half from where I put some flox in last night. You can see it built up the inconsistency nicely. Next I countersunk all of the #40 holes on the cowl. That took a while. Finally I prepped all of the hinges that go onto the cowl. I also roughed them up so they better adhere to the cowl. I am going to use some old proseal instead of epoxy to bond the hinges to the cowl along with rivets. Epoxy seems to brittle for this application. Proseal will give a little, but is strong as hell. Perfect.
