I had a couple of slight scratches in the canopy where I got careless with 60 grit sandpaper and scuffed up the canopy. I put a call out to help on the forums and got recommended the Novus three step polished. Time to give them a whirl. Here is one of the worst scratches. After working the scratch down with 300 to 1500 sandpaper, I applied the three polishing compounds and am quite happy with the results. It's practically gone. I suppose with a little more work it will be perfect, but I am very happy with the results. The Novus stuff is affordable and works great. Next I bolted the canopy latches to the back of the frame and torqued them down. I put the canopy on the frame for the final time and screwed it down to the frame with #6 screws. I don't know what the torque needs to be on these. I more or less snugged them up. I might tighten them up later. Finally I needed to paint the three clips I made to hold down the front of the canopy. I painted them because they *could* be seen from the inside of the cabin over the glare shield.
