Wow...It's been a couple days shy of a month since I last worked on the project. I have pretty much been out of town all month on fun/business trips all around the country. It took a couple of days once I got back to get back into the swing of things. Since I received the finish kit, I backed up a couple of steps and installed the 'hat' section on the center subpanel. This needs to be shortened and then cut at an angle before it can be fit. Also, Van's give you absolutely no dimensions for how this thing is supposed to fit, so it took a little trial and error. ***ALSO*** - The top holes are not parallel! One is higher than the other, so be careful to double check which one is the highest so you don't end up misdrilling. Here is another thing I noticed - the holes for the center seal support angle is pretty close to the hole for the hat section. I am thinking about dimpling the hole for the hat section so the flush side is on the front of the subpanel.
