I drilled the F-7101 gear attach web to the F-902 bulkhead tonight. The piece of aluminum you see up top is to simulate the bottom skin being in there. I didn't know if that would affect how everything would be drilled, and it would of been a pain to put the bottom skin on and keep everything aligned. Since I just needed it for spacing, this worked just fine. Like I said, I don't know if its needed, but I didn't want to find out the hard way! Next I started fabricating the spacers that are associated with the tank attach bracket. I made the F-796C and D's. I scratched my head for for a while searching through all of the fuselage parts for the AA6-125x3/4x3/4 angle. The only stuff I could fine was the 9'10" sections sent with the wing kit. They aren't called out for anything else, and I don't know where else such a long piece of angle could be used on the kit. I hate cutting something so long, but this has gotta be it.
