Lots of work today priming the center section parts. This was a pretty big priming job with about 35 parts or so. I really don't like priming ribs because of how many nooks and crannies they have. Luckily, I think these could be some of the last ribs I have to prime for the whole project....quite the milestone. Here is the bottom skin and some of the seat ribs.

Some more seat ribs, baggage ribs and other misc parts.

I topcoated the crotch strap brackets for two reasons - one is there could be some rubbage between the belt and the bracket, so the topcoat should add a little more resilience. Also, there is a chance that these brackets will be seen from inside the cabin, so I wanted them to be a color other than ugly AKZO green.

Next I took the vinyl off of the skin and deburred all of the holes.

Finally I dimpled the bottom skin. This guy needed the full throat of the DRDT-2. Either this skin was designed around the skin, or the dimpler was designed around the skin. As insignificant as this step is in my project, it symbolizes me being at the same point as the first RV project I visited at Bill Cloughley's house a year and a half ago.
