The bushings for the bellcranks need to be slightly modified. First the inside of the bushing needs to be enlarged to 1/4" a AN4 bolt. To make sure the 1/4" hole was centered, I used a 3/8" (outer diameter of the bushing) drill bit to make a hole in a 2x6 clamped to the drill press. I placed the bushing in the hole, chucked a 1/4" bit in and went to town, giving me a perfectly centered hole. Took a whole 5 minutes for this kind of accuracy. I also clamped it in place with some vice grips so it didn't spin. The whole reason I needed to get the bellcrank bushings cranked out was to check for interference with the pitot lines. This would be a piece of cake with just one pitot line, but I have a AOA line and also I might route the pitot heat under the bellcrank too (to save room in the conduit). I am still mulling all of this over to find the best way to accommodate all of this crap.
