I started the flaps tonight, supposedly the easiest control surface on the project. No stiffeners, no trailing edge bending, no double flush rivets. We will see how "easy" these things are. Anyways, the first step is deburring the spars. I used my TC's advice on deburring edges and was able to get great results in probably half the time. Next I checked all the flanges on the ribs and clecoed/drilled them to the spar. I clecoed the bottom skin on and searched through the parts for some 0.025" trim to make some spacers. I ended the ending digging up the trim.
