I scored some new tools today. I found a Delta bench sander (5" wheel and 1" belt) in the classifieds for $35. It is about 10 years old and probably has been used only once. I couldn't turn that down. Also, I went to Harbor Freight Tools and picked up a 6" chop saw.

I put the chop saw to use immediately to cut one of the bracket standoffs off. It works amazingly well, and it well worth the $40 for just that one chop. That was all I was able to get done today....Maryland Oktoberfest was happening today and I never miss a good beer festival.

This is the $40 chopsaw I got from Harbor Freight Tools. This thing is great.

This is what it spits out. I took the first bit a little conservatively, not knowing what it would turn out to be. You never know with these high quality chinese tools.
