My last oil change was back on November - since then I have only put an abysmal 33 hours on the engine. While the oil had some more life in it, I am expecting to be flying her a lot more in the not too distant future, so I went ahead and did a change. I got smart this time and attached a hose to the quick drain. It did wonders to make sure all of the oil got in the bucket. I decided to check my oil screen while I was at it. It was spotless. I also got smart and elevated the oil bucket to be closer to the form-a-funnel. This is a sweet setup for changing the oil. Not one drop from the oil filter made it onto the engine. After 300 hours, I think it is safe to say I have perfected the RV oil change!
