Yeah I know I took a good 1/2 month off the build. Good reason though - my annual Oktoberfest vacation to Munich. I won't go into the details of the trip, but it was basically 10 days of drinking beer. God I love Germany. Anyways, back to getting motion going on this project. My patch for the altimeter cutout turned out perfect. I am super happy with this.  next on the list was to finish the latching mechanism for the map box door. I was able to screw in the latch to the top of the map box.  And here it is closed -- perfectly flush.  I countersunk the screws on the front side of the door and will fill these with Rage or something to make them hidden. They are countersunk below the surface.  I put the hardware in for good for the map box latch - some #4 screws.
