With the top of the FAB fitted, it was time to drill it to the box with #40 holes. The top needs to sit 1/16" below the top of the filter so when the plate attached to the fuel servo is screwed down, it pushed down on the filter and forms a good seal.


With that done, I needed to work on the vertical allignment of the intake. I positioned it and clamped it in place on the cowl.


With it in place, I put 4 layers of glass between the old FAB and the Sam James adapter. Things are lookin' pretty good!
