The garage was perfect for painting tonight....88 degrees and 50% humidity. I didn't open the garage doors for fear of the massive invasion of bugs that would surely come in for the bright lights, and surely literally stick to the paint. Now, as much as I would like to make the worlds biggest flypaper, it surely wouldn't be on my fuselage! Anyways, I grabbed a couple copies of the local liberal/alternative free newspaper(City Paper) and finally did something useful with it. No, not read it (that wouldn't be useful), but cover up my fuselage. It took a good hour and a half to mask off the interior. Here is a look after the inside was painted.

And another look at the forward side. It turned out looking great. Good enough for me.

Next I painted the canopy latching steel bar and the flap arms. I was going to leave them white, but they look way better matching the interior.

I think I am calling the fuselage officially FINISHED! Sure, there are things I have to bolt on, but its pretty much done. Yipee!
