I got my Comant C-122 VHF belly antenna today. Found it used (but brand new) on BarnStormers.com with 20' of RG400 and two BNC connectors for a steal. Gotta love it.

I cut a nice big 1" hole in my fuel selector plate for the Andair fuel selector valve

After a bunch of measurements, I backdrilled the plate using the valves holes to #12. I don't have any #10 screws that have a pan top, so I am going to order some. I think some AN526C-1032Rx from ACS might be the trick. They are phillips head and stainless, so they should look nice against the Andair label.

The valve is even cooler because it is provisioned for nutplates already. It already has the rivet holes countersunk also! I did find I needed to countersink the holes a little more for the rivets to sit right.

On with the prep work....I prepped and riveted the fuel pump cover.

And I riveted some nutplates and the sides together on the firewall recess. It doesn't say to do this now, but why not....the only other thing that happens to this puppy is to get tossed onto the fuse before the engine gets hung.
