I wanted to get in touch with more local builders today, so I got contacts for some people on VansAirForce.com who had 6/6a/7/7a's in the area. Before lunch, i called two people with 6's that were running, and emailed a guy was in the process of building a 7A. By 7:00pm, I had heard back from all three people! Mike Rollison called me and surprising to me he was the EAA chapter 1384 president out of Carrol County Airport (KDMW). He told me that there were probably 10 or so RV's based out of there - (3) 8's, (1) 4, (2) 6's, (1) 6A and a 7A being built! He invited me to the meeting on November 20th to check out his plane and see what the others were working on.
